He was born in Bursa Keles in 1978. He finished primary and secondary school in Bursa. He completed his high school education at Bursa Boys' High School. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2000. He completed his master's degree in 2004 and his doctorate in 2012 from Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute Private Law Program. Between 2002 and 2012, where he continued his master's and doctoral studies, he worked as a research assistant at Istanbul University, Faculty of Law, Department of Commercial Law.

 

During his doctoral studies, he conducted research as an erasmus student and guest scientist at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cologne and the Institute of Private International Law and Foreigners Law of the University of Cologne between 2007 and 2009. He has been working as a faculty member at Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Commercial Law since 2013.

 

He has two published monographic works, namely Unjust Enrichment in Bills of Exchange (2004) and Current Account Agreement (2012), as well as many articles and papers published in the fields of commercial law, contract law and arbitration. He has been registered in the mediation registry and has been mediating in case condition and voluntary mediation files since 2020. He holds a Commercial Law and Banking and Finance Law Specialist Mediation certificate. As an instructor at many universities, especially Istanbul University Continuing Education Center, he teaches the theoretical parts of mediation-related specialized training. He is also an expert and concordat commissioner registered in the Istanbul Regional Expertise list.
